Traversing the Contours of AI -
Looking at a Just Future?

In continuation of the previous session of the webinar on “Law and Artificial Intelligence: A Primer”, the RGNUL Student Research Review (RSRR), on July 24, 2020 organised a panel discussion on ‘Traversing the Contours of AI: Looking at a Just Future’, in collaboration with Mishi Choudhary & Associates and powered by Lawctopus.

The panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Apurva Singh, Associate at Mishi Choudhary & Associates and featured the following speakers:

 

(1) Prasanth Sugathan, Legal Director of SFLC India and Partner, Sugathan & Associates

 

(2) Abhayraj Naik, an advisor, consultant and educator based in Bengaluru, India. He is currently a Visiting Faculty at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru where he teaches courses on climate change, justice, and law. He is a graduate of the National Law School of India University and Yale Law School.

(3) Smriti Parsheera, a lawyer and policy researcher with the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi. She has previously worked with the UN Development Programme and Competition Commission of India. She is a graduate of the National Law School of India University and the University of Pennsylvania.

 

(4) Ameen Jauhar, a Senior Resident Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. He is a graduate of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences and University College London.
